"Let's do it right!" an initiative launched by El-Sadat calling the political parties and powers to participate

MP / Mohamed Anwar El-Sadat, head of the Reform and Development Party, launched an initiative under the motto "Let's do it right!" through which he called all the political parties, movements, powers and revolutionary coalitions to really contribute in building Egypt. Considering that the current period is a period of construction and production requesting the biggest amount of effort for the sake of Egypt. He hopes for this initiative to be under the auspices of the President and his Prime Minister in support of his program for the first (100 days).

El-Sadat's initiative goes like this: Each two out of the total 57 existing parties can choose a governorate from a total of 26 existing governorates as per their desire and according to the presence of their actual forces and effective cadres in any given governorate. Hence the governorates will be distributed on all the existing parties, movements and coalitions. Work will start in all the governorates at the same time in areas of social and developmental projects like; planting trees, cleanliness campaigns, garbage collection, beautification, caring for the environment, public health, promoting tourism and other activities. This should be done in cooperation with the heads of districts and cities and we should have a form of a competition match between the parties, powers, and revolutionary coalitions bringing multiple benefits for Egypt all at the same time. This will also restore to the parties a lot of their missed correlation with the masses.

El-Sadat stressed that it is time for the leading parties to carry on their role in the development of the community rather than being preoccupied with narrow partisan interests or panting breathlessly after the ministerial portfolios and the political conflicts or the imaginary alliances or any other trivialities. He added that they have now to work in the streets, which is better than spending lavishly on seminars, publications and advertising only to get the attention of a limited number of the elite since nobody else cares much about such things.
