MP / Mohamed Anwar El-Sadat, head of the Reform and Development Party, considered the presidential decree to reopen the dissolved parliament an optimum solution for finding a way out of the legislative vacuum crisis which lead to the immediately discontinuation of following up several laws and agreements and important files that affect the lives of the Egyptians. He stressed that this decision restored the wills of millions of Egyptians who went out and chose their own representatives freely and fairly.
At the same time El-Sadat confirmed that the decision of President Morsi must have been based on legal and constitutional grounds stemming from the actuality of his powers and emphasizing his respect for the judiciary system and its provisions. This poses a great responsibility on the MPs to shoulder their responsibility and improve their parliamentary performance to be able to achieve the revival and development project.
