RDP Party Statement

The Reform and Development Party is demanding the president to dismiss the present government, resolve both the People's Assembly and the Shura Council and to delegate authority to the military forces temporarily for about 3 months till a new government, reflecting the coalition of the nation, is formed. The party also demands holding new clean elections for both councils to be fully supervised by the Egyptian judiciary system and to further amend the constitution in order to ensure clean and unbiased presidential elections without nominating the president's son. The party further demands the president to assert the freedom of speech as a fair ground for settling and calming the angry outbreak that resulted from the protests and the civil demonstrations by various sectors of the society in the streets of various governorates of Egypt.

The party further demands the president to act promptly towards taking such decisions and announcing them in response to the people's requests.
