The Political Party Chamber at the Supreme Administrative Court will hold a hearing on Saturday the 16th of October, 2010, regarding an appeal submitted by RDP, in response to the refusal of the establishment of the RDP political party. RDP submitted its official request for establishment to the Political Parties Affairs Committee of Shura Council on the 22nd of April, and received a refusal from the Committee, objecting the party establishment, on the 18th of July.
Therefore, the party submits its appeal against the decision of the Committee. The date for consideration of the appeal is Saturday October 16, at 10 am in the State Council. The party calls for all of its founders to attend, and especially calls for youth members to be present during the appeal hearing.
The party will hold a press conference on the same day to announce the list of RDP candidates, whether the establishment of the party is accepted or not. The party will participate in parliamentary elections with a list of independent candidates in the People's Assembly for year 2010, in continuation of its political will and reform.
