Islamic cultural group meeting at Al-Azhar University

Mr. Anwar Esmat Al-Sadat discussed the definition of Islamic culture with Dr. Ezz El-Sawy, Vice President of Al-Azhar University. Al-Sadat affirmed that the initiative includes two sides, one is academic and the other is cultural in order to be acquainted with the Egyptian culture.

The initiative also works on restoring the position of Al-Azhar as a beacon of Islamic education over the centuries.

Dr. El-Sawy welcomed the idea and he mentioned that the idea deserves to be extended to H.H. Sheikh Al-Azhar. He also added that it is a good start and fruitful cooperation which will have good impact on the Islamic world.
