Parliamentary Member/ Mr. Anwar El-Sadat, Head of Reform and Development Party (RDP) submits an urgent statement to Prime Minister, Minster of the Interior and Minister of Trade, Industry and Investment on cancelling Le Marche’ furniture exhibition. That exhibition was scheduled to take place nowadays in Nasr City. He wonders about the real reasons to cancel it.
El-Sadat highlights that Le Marche’ is the main marketing place that lasts for a whole year. It is a great opportunity to open channels to export our products especially in that crucial time of the year as people are celebrating Christmas and New Year. This may affect Egypt’s image abroad, however, the government’s sole should be to support local industry.
El-Sadat calls the Prime Minster for urgently saving the exhibition and to confirm its organization on time to promote and keep the Egyptian furniture industry. That industry is Egypt’s backbone. We mustn’t give anybody chance to defame Egypt’s reputation internally or abroad.
