MP / Mohamed Anwar El-Sadat, head of the Reform and Development Party, declared his full solidarity with the press syndicate chairman, Yahya Qalash, and Board members Khaled al Balshi, and Jamal Abdul Rahim, against the court ruling that charged them of harboring fugitives.
El-Sadat affirmed his full support for the press union in its fight for the freedom and independence of the press and syndicate activities. He also expressed his ultimate hope that Egyptian press become a model for freedom and reflects citizens' aspiration and ambitions.
