El-Sadat demands the parliament to side with the revolution and to have faith in the youth

Before taking the constitutional oath and in a proactive move expressing what the political and national forces and the masses have been calling for, MP/ Anwar El-Sadat (Chairman of the Reform and Development Party) demanded the whole parliament to side fully with the Egyptian revolution. He also demanded them not to settle with the day's procedural session but rather to follow it with a thematic session. On top of the topics that must be discussed comes the file of delivering the authority fully to an elected civilian authority as soon as possible.

Also the files of; corruption, the demonstrators' killings, providing necessary mechanisms that would enable the Egyptian people to monitor the performance of members of the PA through broadcasting all the sessions live and on the social networks (Facebook, Twitter and YouTube), along with recording them for the archives so they can be used any time when needed. He also requested providing access to the records of the sessions on the Council's website, activating the electronic voting panel within the Council and recording the results first hand.

This comes as part of the desires which El-Sadat shares with all the Egyptians in having an honorable Egyptian parliament based on transparency and utilizing the thoughts and tools of the youth and all the Egyptians through the instantaneous follow up of everything taking place in the Council, and through sharing constructive opinions and ideas that serve the Egyptian issues along with the latest developments occurring on the scene directly and effectively.
