El-Sadat warns against ownership or partnership of the Central Bank's board members in any banking companies or private offices

Anwar Esmat El-Sadat (founders' representative of the Reform and Development Party) requested from the cabinet of ministers to take all necessary precautions towards the full devotion of the Central Bank's board members to prevent them from having any ownerships or partnerships in companies or private offices working in the very same system that is put under the censorship of the Central Bank.
El-Sadat warned from the potential dangers if such precaution is not taken because it defies the purpose of equality and parity in addition to opening the door to corruption, embezzlement and conflict of interest for the board members who might profit from their posts in the board with all the available information related to the financial and investment environment as well as the sales quotas specs for the government contributions in each bank, which can all be done through their owned offices or companies leading to the detriment of the public interest.
