Sadat Files Complaint Against Previous Minister of Interior, Al-Adli and Abdel Rahman, SSI

 
Anwar Esmat el Sadat, founder Representative of the Reform and Development Party, filed a complaint with the Attorney General asking for a the investigation of Mr. Habib Al-Adli, former interior minister, and Mr. Hassan Abdel-Rahman, Director SSI, as the highest authority at the Ministry of Interior at the time the start of the January 25th demonstrations. Charges include those of treason and causing casualties of demonstrators.

Sadat also asked to issue a decree to prevent the Bureau of the National Democratic Party from traveling abroad. This decree also asks to include all related family members with reservations on all their assets and property, as well as the prevention of members disposing of the pending investigation into the sources of their property as well as the legitimacy of the bad policies that brought Egypt to disaster and ruin. The decree asks that members be held responsible for such policies.
