Sadat Demands Monument to Honor Martyrs of Demonstrations

To honor the lives of the martyrs who shed their blood for Egypt during the January 25th demonstrations, Mr. Anwar Esmat el Sadat requests that a mural be placed in Tahrir square, displaying names of the deceased. This request is made to the Governor of Cairo and the local People's Council. Artist, Dr. Mustafa Razzaz has expressed willingness to work as a volunteer on this project.

Such a monument shall be considered a matter of thanks and gratitude to commemorate all young people who have participated in the first popular revolution led by youth making free, fair and legitimate demands, resulting in changing the face and future of Egypt, in a period when Egyptians were in need of hope and freedom.
