In light of recent events, Anwar Esmat Sadat, founder of the Reform and Development Party, points out that the demands of the youth of January 25th are not new to the ears of the regime. It is imperative to hold accountable those who are responsible for loss caused to our martyrs and wounded young people, so that their struggle is legitimized.
Not only is it necessary to hold Ahmed Ezz ,Habib El Adly, Maghrabi, Garranah and Rashid accountable, but it is also necessary to bring light to corruption committed, to those who both authorized and encouraged them to continue these abuses. This person is Gamal Mubarak, who presided over the NDP, who allowed himself to be led by his vanity, superiority and political ambitions, without realizing the good will of the Egyptian people and his country, and that Egypt is much bigger than Gamal Mubarak.
Revolutions and wars must be followed by dialogue, negotiation and gains. We will soon pass through this crisis and return to our nation, brighter than before and more deserving of its people.
