Today, Mr. Mohamed El Sherif, a lawyer representing parliamentarian, Mohamed Anwar el Sadat, has filed a case to the general prosecutor against Khaled Saleh, in his capacity as Editor in Chief of Youm7 newspaper and Parlmany website, Hazem Hussein, a journalist at Youm7, and Mohamed Atteya, a journalist at Parlmany, with charges of slander and defamation against his client and his family. This is to be considered a crime in which the written, visible media sources, the internet and social media were used to defame el Sadat, both a member of the House of Representatives and an Egyptian citizen, and his family.
