El-Sadat calls upon Sisi to unveil the National Defence Decree of the Military Cooperation in a Combat Mission in the Gulf

Parliament Member Anwar El-Sadat, Head of Reform and Development Party (RDP) calls upon President Abdelfattah Sisi to urgently bring out the Decree issued on Thursday by the National Defense council. Such Decree extended the Cooperation of the Egyptian Military Forces to the Gulf in a combat mission in an attempt to foster the Egyptian and Arab security in the gulf, Red Sea and Bab El-Mandab. Such Act will include also Egypt's cooperation in a Military operation lead by Saudi Arabia in Yemen for an additional year or when the combating mission ends.

El-Sadat stresses that according to Article 152 of the Constitution, the parliament now is entitled to grant approval by a two-third majority vote of members. He also clarifies that the Parliament is entitled to scrutinize and review the Decree in light of the Egyptian Military Forces role in protecting and defending the National Security of Egypt and the Arabs especially after the 30 June, 2013 Revolution and after the Gulf's political and economic support to Egypt.
