Anwar El-Sadat, Head of Reform and Development Party (RDP) expressed his disapproval with respect to the prohibition of publication in the Dabaa nuclear project. He adds that for many years the details and mechanisms related to the project are already published. Everybody knows that the project is not a judicial issue i.e. there are not any actions brought against it. He said that the project is considered a national project that many people count on it in the enhancement of electricity and power in Egypt.
El-Sadat highlighted that the parliament is to be formed soon and that important topics need to be discussed in it transparently. Hence, we are not supposed to face prohibition of publication to be used legally and constitutionally in banning people from expressing their opinions. Now we are living in a new era where transparency and freedom should prevail.
El-Sadat called the Cabinet for clarifying the latest progress in the Dabaa nuclear project as there are many rumors spreading about it.
