Anwar El-Sadat: Islamic Military Alliance matters and issues are not taken into consideration

Anwar El-Sadat, Head of Reform and Development Party (RDP) stressed that the international efforts exerted facing terrorism are magnificent. It requires gratitude and backing. We should support such efforts greatly. However, constituting an Islamic Military Alliance comprising 34 states combating terrorism led by Saudi Arabic has numerous issues that are not taken into consideration. Among the issues to be considered is the cooperative Arab power highlighted by Egypt.

El-Sadat expressed concern towards the existence of Turkey and Qatar among such alliance despite their apparent support to terrorism and certain terrorist groups in Libya. He sheds light that the real reason behind comprising that alliance could be the Saudi-Yemini crisis and that Saudi Arabic could be finding a way out for this crisis under a nation coalition.

El- Sadat expressed that even if Egypt is supporting greatly the regional and international efforts combating the "TERRORISM" phenomenon, the Egyptian authorities should think carefully before taking any further steps or initiatives related to this issue.
