Upon the invitation of President Adly Mansour, Chairman of Reform & Development Party Anwar El Sadat is taking part in the urgent meeting tomorrow with other political parties' leaders in the Presidential Palace. Political leaders will discuss their comments and disagreements on the presidential electoral law which was recently issued.
Sadat confirms that he will convey to the president the Reform& Development Party's position on the electoral law and particularly in regard to the immunity of High Elections Commission's decisions. The party will also raise the candidacy criteria in addition to other controversial articles in the law. Sadat highlighted that the law has to respond to people's aspirations and political actor's vision for free and fair elections.
