Soldiers' Death a Horrific Incident in Need of Immediate Punishment

Mr. Anwar El Sadat, President of the Reform and Development Party, condemned the North Sinai attack, in which suspected terrorists fired rocket-propelled grenades at two buses killing 24 soldiers and wounding several others. El Sadat also called for the formation of a judicial committee, with the participation of independent human rights organizations. This committee would urgently investigate the Sinai incident, as well as yesterday's killing of 36 detainees en route to Abu Zaabal. Both incidents cannot go unpunished.

El Sadat insisted that the Muslim Brotherhood and their supporters are fighting their last battle today. Therefore, they can drain their entire forces and energies to accomplish their goal, the destruction of Egypt. The Muslim Brotherhood is deluded, because nothing will change, since the will of the people, the army, and the police will remain solid no matter what happens. This terrorist group has no place among us in Egypt.

El Sadat offered his condolences to the families of the soldiers, stressing that justice will be served and the murders will be punished. The battle between truth and falsehood will not be long because falsehood is ever bound to vanish. Truth and justice will prevail.
