El-Sadat demands the president to dispense with his advisers

Anwar El-Sadat (President of the Reform and Development Party) demanded Dr. Muhammad Morsi to immediately dispense with his advisers after everyone saw how their performance flopped and their statements conflicted and with all the funny comments that were said about the difficult events we live in right now. Everyone realized that they are not on the required level after the president took back many of his decisions and after the crisis that was caused by the recent constitutional declaration.

El-Sadat pointed out that some of the president's advisers resigned while others persisted and now they must all stay away from this great responsibility. He warned of the continued reliance on them, especially with regards to Egypt's foreign relations and national security.

El-Sadat called the president to choose his advisers based on clear criteria and on the basis of experience not as a matter of courtesy or political alignment.

He asked him to disregard their affiliations if he was looking for the type of performance that would satisfy all the Egyptians and enhances the value of the president before his people.
