El-Sadat: The Attorney General's decision to refer the symbols of the Salvation Front to investigations is wrong and unacceptable

Anwar El-Sadat (Head of the Reform and Development Party) considered the decision of the Attorney General to assign an investigating magistrate for the symbols and leaders of the National Salvation Front for charges of treason only shows the absence of any form of political sense and lack of estimation for what Egypt is going through right now with all the events and misfortunes, even if they have shown some irregularities.

El-Sadat stressed that while we all strive to reconciliation, reunification and political alignment the Attorney General surprises us with this wrong and unacceptable decision, which closes the door to any endeavors made towards political stability, unity and solidarity for the higher interest of this nation.

El-Sadat pointed out that after we respected the results of the referendum and after we vowed to deal with the reality to find an opportunity to change it using the democratic path, in view of the looming economic collapse, such decisions only lead to escalating the irritation of the public opinion and erase any hopes to reconciliation with the purpose of working for Egypt at this critical timing.

This is all beacuse of decisions that are made without any reasoning or thinking and beacuse of being ignorant about ABC-politics
