Anwar El-Sadat wins the post of "Head of the Human Rights' Committee"

  Parliament member/ Mohamed Anwar El-Sadat became the head of the Human Rights Committee at the Egyptian Parliament by acclamation and consensus of all the committee's (26) members. The position of the two deputies was won by the representative of the FJP and the representative of El-Noor party respectively.

  The Committee gets ready to prepare and carry out its crowded work plan with legislation and laws that would preserve the political, economic and social rights of the citizens. In addition to this, it will handle the files of the international institutions and organizations that are concerned with following up and monitoring the status of democracy and freedoms in Egypt.
