Iran, Israel and the heated climates

In view of an unprepared climate and a state of instability experienced by most Arab countries with the Arab spring and all its new implications, the Iranian nuclear file is back on top of the scene after an interval of cautious stillness. Once again we find ourselves on the verge of a new crisis in the most unsuitable timing of all, which could all lead to undesirable consequences affecting the course of things in the whole world. According to reports from the Israeli newspaper Maariv, an Israeli attack against Iranian nuclear facilities may occur in the coming days unless Iran backs down on its nuclear stance following the new report of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) expressing concerns about the possibility of a military dimension to Iran's nuclear program. This, in turn, spurred the Israeli President Shimon Peres to send threats implying that a military attack against Iran is now close to hand than a diplomatic option. The crisis between Israel and Iran is getting worse and becoming increasingly complicated day after day. The stance of Western Europe remains unclear to date, and the U.S. stance tends to be calm, far from any escalation and seeking a way out through an appropriate solution. As for Israel and Iran each of them adheres strongly to what they see fit and in accordance with their vision. Still, the situation escalates and the drums of war are about to be heard again. No one is moving except for some simple and insufficient actions as if there is a state of international satisfaction with what is happening. Such issues should never be left unattended because they have raised the fears of many specially that the U.S. withdrawal from Iraq and is expected to be concluded with the end of 2011 which led some to consider this as a harbinger of another near attack awaiting Iran. Add to this the Israeli aircraft training taking place in Italy on hitting distant targets, in addition to an Israeli-American cooperation to install missile shields in southern Israel to intercept ballistic missiles. Top all this off with the U.S. support which was seen clearly in clapping so warmly and exaggeratingly to every sentence uttered by Netanyahu in his speech before the Congress recently. There is no doubt that the whole world knows the seriousness of what we are headed to, and Iran with its current military force cannot be compared to Iraq or Afghanistan because it owns both; its weapons and its decision which gives it the ability to retort with more than predicted by observers or analysts. Perhaps the least result for this imminent war will be the soaring oil price after the closure of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran especially with its naval military power that is not to be trifled with adding by this a further crisis to the world economy which is already suffering from other crises I think that the Arab peoples after they have regained their freedom, their nationality and their dignity will not be the idle forerunners of the past days. If Iran is attacked, especially the Islamists, and with the challenges imposed by the Arab revolutions in changing their ruling regimes and even if some countries do not fully agree with Iran's policies, yet all this will come at a time when Palestine is attacked on the West Bank and Gaza Strip to stir the feelings of anger and hatred and enrage the youth, especially in Egypt, setting the atmosphere so ablaze to cope with such sensitive issues. Both the Israeli and Iranian sides should slow down and observe the requirements of the current circumstances, in order to avoid many conflicts and to stop the invisible hands that are busy toying with these hot files now to spill more of the blood of victims and innocent people. There is no way but to negotiate with the Iranian side, either through the International Energy Agency (IAEA) or the European Community. As for the Israelis (our partners in peace) they must address issues with more wisdom and reason regardless of any fears they have right now so as to stop the events from developing or even worse, reaching a dead end.
